Privacy Policy

Information we receive

When you save an article, Supabase stores its category, article identifier, the time you saved it, and your account identifier. Your saved articles are private to your account. Saving an article does not subscribe you to email updates.

If you submit a room-concept request, we store your account identifier, request details, optional Amazon links, request status, and any room photo you choose to add in a private Supabase Storage location. We use this information only to review and, where we choose, respond to the request. We will ask before using a submitted room photo publicly. A room-concept request does not subscribe you to email updates.

You can read the site without creating an account. When you visit, our hosting provider and the services described below may receive technical information such as your IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, referring page, and approximate location derived from your IP address.

If you use our contact form, it asks for your name, email address, and message, and offers an optional file upload. Google Forms hosts the form. Uploading a file may require a Google account, and Google may record account details associated with the upload. We use the information you submit to read and respond to your message.

If you sign in with Google, Supabase stores your account email, account identifier, and sign-in information. When you click “Subscribe” on a category, we also store which category you subscribed to and when. Signing in alone does not subscribe you to emails. You can read all public pages without signing in.

Cookies, local storage, and analytics services

We also keep a copy of the public category list in your browser's local storage to reduce repeat downloads. This copy is used for up to one hour before the site requests a fresh list. It contains category information, not your email or subscription choices, and can be removed by clearing browser data.

We cache public article summaries in your browser for up to five minutes to reduce repeat downloads. This cache contains public article information, not your email, saved articles, or subscription choices. It can also be removed by clearing browser data.

We store your cookie choice in your browser’s local storage so the site can remember it. You can reopen the choice panel using “Privacy choices” in the footer.

If you sign in with Google, Supabase stores a session in your browser so you can stay signed in and manage your subscriptions. This storage is needed for the sign-in feature and is separate from your optional analytics and advertising choice.

We use Microsoft Clarity to understand how visitors use the site through interaction analytics and session replays. Clarity loads after you allow optional cookies. It may use first-party cookies such as _clck and _clsk, and Microsoft may use identifiers such as MUID. If you decline, Clarity does not load on that visit. If you withdraw consent after Clarity has loaded, we send it a denied consent signal; it removes its cookies and continues in limited, cookieless mode for the rest of that page visit.

We use Google Analytics to understand visits and Google AdSense for advertising. Unless you have previously allowed cookies, their tags load with analytics and advertising storage set to denied. Even when storage is denied, Google’s consent mode may send limited measurements without cookies. If you allow cookies, Google may use cookies and related data for analytics, advertising, and ad personalization. See Google’s Privacy Policy for more information.

Third-party vendors, including Google, may use cookies to serve ads based on your visits to this site or other websites. Google’s advertising cookies enable Google and its partners to serve ads based on those visits. You can manage personalized ads in Google Ads Settings or opt out of some third-party vendors’ personalized advertising at aboutads.info.

Affiliate links and outside websites

Visual articles ask you to sign in with Google before opening a retailer product link. After sign-in, the site takes you to the product you selected. Signing in does not subscribe you to category emails.

Some articles may include links that earn us a commission if you make a qualifying purchase. When you follow an affiliate link, the retailer may use its own cookies or other tracking to attribute a purchase. Your activity on the retailer’s site is governed by that retailer’s privacy policy. We identify paid links near the links when they appear.

Our site also links to other independent websites. We do not control their content or privacy practices.

How information is used and shared

We use information to operate the site, understand readership, review room-concept requests, respond to messages, send the category updates you request, and support advertising and affiliate attribution. Information may be processed by our hosting provider, Google, Supabase, and a retailer you choose to visit through a link. We do not require an account to read articles or collect payment details directly on quzela.com.

Retention and your choices

Saved articles remain associated with your account until you remove them using the bookmark button on the article or request account deletion through our contact page.

Your cookie choice remains in local storage until you change it or clear browser data. Contact messages are kept as needed to respond and maintain a record of the exchange. Analytics, advertising, and retailer data are subject to those providers’ retention practices.

You can change your site cookie choice through the footer, adjust browser settings, or use the ad controls linked above. Changing your choice does not remove cookies already stored; you can clear those in your browser. To ask us about information submitted through the contact form, get in touch.

You can unsubscribe by clicking “Unsubscribe” on a selected category after signing in. Unsubscribing stops those updates but does not delete your Google or Supabase account. To request deletion of your account and associated information, use the contact page. We keep subscription records until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete your account, subject to records we need to retain for legal or operational reasons.

Children and policy changes

This site is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children under 13. We may update this policy when our services or practices change; the date at the top shows the latest revision.
